Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, hosting a bridal shower, planning a bachelorette party, or organizing a corporate team-building outing, our candle pouring and fragrance customization experiences are perfect for groups of all kinds.
Reservations
Groups of four (4) or more are asked to make a reservation to ensure they are seated together at the Scent Bar.
We welcome reservations for any group size, limited up to 14 guests during the week (Tuesday through Friday) and up to 8 guests on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Reservations ensure your party is seated together and receives dedicated assistance throughout the entire process.

Private Parties and Corporate Events
If you would like to rent our space for a private party, bridal event, or corporate team-building session, please contact us at pour@wickacandlebar.com. We will work with you to plan every detail of your event, including setup, jar selection within your budget, and timing. Our team is experienced in hosting celebrations of all kinds, creating an environment that is fun, interactive, and meaningful for your guests or team members.
Expectations
When you and your guests arrive at Wick, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and knowledgeable Scent Tenders. They will guide your group through every step of the candle pouring or fragrance product customization process, from selecting scents to mixing oils and designing your personalized labels. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your group has a memorable, relaxing, and creative experience.
Plan on spending about 45 minutes in-store, depending on the size of your group and the number of products being created. This allows ample time for scent exploration, blending, and label design. Candles then take at least 90 minutes to cool before they are ready to take home.
While you wait for your candles to set, we encourage you to explore the surrounding area. Whether you’re looking for dinner reservations, drinks, coffee shops, or local boutiques, our Scent Tenders are always happy to provide recommendations. The San Marco neighborhood is filled with historic charm, art galleries, and restaurants, while our Jacksonville Beach location is just steps away from the ocean, surf shops, and beachfront cafes.
If you’d like to pour a candle and take it home with you the same day, please plan to visit the store at least two and a half hours before we close. Our hours are:
Tuesday – Thursday: Close at 7:00 PM
Friday – Saturday: Close at 9:00 PM
Sunday: Close at 5:00 PM
If you don’t mind picking up your candle another day, you can stop by anytime during regular business hours. There is no rush to pick up your finished candles — we will hold onto them for you as long as needed.
Pricing
If you are paying for your group, you are welcome to pre-select jars based on your budget. For example, our standard 8 oz. jar is $23, inclusive of the entire Wick experience, which includes scent blending, candle pouring, and personalized label design. Pre-selecting jar options helps your guests choose quickly and ensures you stay within your planned budget for the event.
Overall pricing is dependent on the size and style of jar that you choose. Prices range from $23 to $40, with most options around $28. All prices include the full Wick experience with no additional hidden fees. We offer a wide variety of jar styles and sizes to suit any aesthetic, from minimalist glass to colorful tins.
If your group prefers to create other products instead of candles, such as room sprays, oils, reed diffusers, or body care products like scrubs, lotions, and hand soaps, pricing will vary depending on the product type and container selected. Our Scent Tenders can provide full pricing details upon arrival or during your booking call.

What is the minimum/maximum size for a group?
We can host groups of up to 15 guests during the week, but we limit our reservation size to groups of 8 on the weekends. We don’t have a group minimum, however, in case you want to come make candles by yourself!
For private events, we can host up to 30 guests.
